This in-person, instructor led training course is designed to prepare individuals to become birth doulas who provide emotional, informational, physical, and mental (non-medical) support during pregnancy, labor, and early postpartum to improve birth outcomes and reduce maternal mortality in Louisiana. Emphasis is placed on addressing racial disparities in maternal and infant health and cultural competency. This training program is approved by the Louisiana Doula Registry Board and also includes Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

The Hospitality course provides students with the necessary knowledge, skills, and competencies needed for entry level employment in the hospitality industry. A wide range of topics such as customer service, responsible vending, food and beverage service, lodging, and guest services are covered in this course. Several industry-based certifications are also offered in this course including LA Responsible Vendor license (LA ATC), ServSafe Food Handler, Certified Front Desk Representative (AHLA), and Customer Service (NRF).

This Louisiana Alcohol and Tobacco Control approved course is designed to ensure you meet the requirements to legally sell and serve alcohol and tobacco in Louisiana. Topics covered include state laws and regulations, validating identification, how alcohol affects the body, recognizing intoxication, and more.
