New Student Orientation
Effective Summer 2023, all new GTC students are required to complete a mandatory two part orientation. Part 1 is completed online and should take less than 30 minutes. It provides a high-level overview of college policies and procedures, registration, and financial assistance. Part 2 is an in-person orientation session that focuses on connecting new students with faculty, staff, campus resources, and other students to assist you with a successful transition to GTC. In-person orientation lasts approximately 1.5 hours.
Part 1 - Online
To get started with Part 1, download the Student Orientation PowerPoint file using the link below. Once you've reviewed the PowerPoint, take the New Student Orientation Quiz. Click the button below to open the quiz. Use the password provided on the student orientation email to access the quiz. If you don’t have time to finish once you start, you can leave and come back later. Admissions will be notified once the quiz is complete and submitted.
Part 2 - In Person
