Housing Programs

Goodwill provides housing support for individuals experiencing homelessness in New Orleans through Rapid Re-Housing and Permanent Supportive Housing programs. These programs are funded through federal and Goodwill funds and aim to help people obtain housing quickly, achieve self-sufficiency, and stay housed.

ELIGIBILITY

Participants must be pre-screened through a Housing Specialist at Unity of Greater New Orleans. Unity is a nonprofit that coordinates community partnerships to end homelessness.

DOCUMENTS NEEDED

Here’s a list of documents you may be required to submit to Unity:

  • Homeless letter
  • Discharge papers (DD-214)
  • Valid photo ID
  • Social security card
  • Proof of income, if any
  • Verification of disability
