Empowering Career Pathways
Goodwill Technical College was awarded a $10,000 grant from the Entergy Charitable Foundation for its Empowering Career Pathways project. This grant will contribute to covering operational costs of training and industry certifications for 20 participants to receive training in Phlebotomy or Computer User Support (IT Support). Industry certifications include CompTIA ITF+, CompTIA A+, and/or NHA Certified Phlebotomy Technician depending on the participant's career pathway. To aid in successful completion, childcare assistance, transportation assistance, job placement assistance, and counseling services will also be provided to participants.
